Greek Yogurt Ranch Dressing (Light & Easy)
Key Ingredients to make this a Light Bite:
· Uses non-fat Greek yogurt instead of mayo or sour cream, cutting calories and fat.
· No added oils or hidden fats that are common in bottled dressings.
· Lower in sugar (most store-bought ranch has added sugars).
· Higher protein, which helps keep you full longer.
· You control the ingredients, so you can reduce sodium and avoid additives.
· No preservatives or stabilizers, which can add calories and unwanted ingredients.
· Easily thinned with water or milk, without adding extra calories

I always keep a bottle of light ranch dressing in the fridge — it’s one of those staples that makes salads, veggies, and quick meals so much more appealing. But the more I started paying attention to ingredients and nutrition labels, the more I wondered… there has to be a way to lighten this up even more.
That’s when I started experimenting with non-fat Greek yogurt, and honestly, I was shocked at how well it worked. It gives you that same creamy texture you expect from ranch, with a nice tang that actually makes the flavor pop — without all the extra fat and calories. Once you mix it with a good ranch seasoning and let it chill for a bit, you’d never guess it wasn’t traditional ranch.
This version has officially replaced store-bought dressing in my fridge. It’s quick to make, uses ingredients I almost always have on hand, and feels like one of those simple swaps that really adds up over time. Perfect for salads, dipping veggies, or even drizzling over grilled chicken — and you can feel good about every bite.
Ingredients
1 cup non-fat Greek yogurt
1 packet premixed low sodium ranch seasoning (or 2–3 tablespoons, depending on brand)
2–3 tablespoons water (or milk of choice for thinner consistency)
1 tablespoon lemon juice (optional, for extra tang)
1 packet of sugar alternative (I use truvia)
Salt + pepper to taste (optional)
Instructions
In a bowl, combine the Greek yogurt and ranch seasoning.
Add water (or milk) a little at a time until you reach your desired consistency.
Stir in lemon juice if using.
Taste and add salt/pepper if needed.
Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors blend.
Tips
For a thicker dip, skip the water.
For a ranch dressing, thin it with more water or milk.
If your seasoning is salty, skip extra salt.
Optional Add-Ins
1 tsp dried dill
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
A splash of apple cider vinegar
